Thank you for visiting the Root New England website and blog. We are hoping that you are here because, like us, you believe New England is blessed with some of the most exceptional talent and want to keep it that way by doing your part to support and appreciate it.
Root New England was born out of the belief that if we supported our local and regional brewers, musicians, food truck proprietors, comedians, actors, and other talent like we do our professional athletes, then we will not only see them grow and become successful and be more likely to stick around. There is nothing worse than seeing something or somebody that you love supporting pick up and move to “greener pastures” in cities like Los Angeles, Nashville, Austin, or New York City.
If we root for our local musicians with even half of the energy and dedication that we invest in supporting the Patriots, can you even imagine the impact that it would make on these folks’ careers? If we spent time getting to know and sampling the beers of our local brewers with anywhere near the energy that we spend not only getting to know every player on the Red Sox 24-man roster but also the prospects at each minor league level, can you imagine the success these businesses would have? If we started to throw our support behind actors and comedians like we had behind the Celtics on their run to the NBA Finals, then we would easily inspire the next generation of great New England talent just based on the support and adoration that they saw their predecessors receive.
At Root New England we hope to be a force for positive recognition for our region’s most talented contributors to our region’s culture. We want to bolster these folks and shine a light on their hard work, so they will feel empowered to continue to strive and thrive right here in New England. This way we can keep them right here, where we can enjoy them. In order to do this, we will need to make sure that we are creating a setting that is rich, nurturing, and full of opportunity for them to be successful. We believe that New England is already most all of those things, but we want to continue to turn it up a notch or two to help spotlight why this is a great region in which to create art, music, entertainment, or culinary masterpieces.

Let’s do our part to help continue encouraging our many super-talented breweries in the region to keep the brews flowing right here within the six New England states. We have so many brilliant food trucks and we want to make sure that they don’t roll out of town, so let’s turn down an evening at a chain restaurant for spectacular local cuisine.
